Venture Niagara’s partnerships include working with various levels of government, government agencies and financial institutions. It also includes working with various municipal departments, not for profit organizations and volunteer groups.

Community Economic Development Partnerships

Tourisme Franco-Niagara

Tourisme Franco-Niagara (TFN) is a not-for-profit organization and is a partnership between Tourism Niagara of the Niagara Economic Development Corp., Venture Niagara Community Futures Development Corporation and Club 2000 Niagara Inc. TFN’s mandate is to promote Niagara as a destination to French speaking markets while working with the local tourism industry and francophone community resources.

ACFO Niagara

The rejuvenation of ACFO Niagara is being made possible by partnership between, many French community organizations.

The Bonjour Campaign

The Bonjour Campaign was developed to promote French speaking service providers in the tourism industry in Niagara. This campaign was rolled out by providing pins, posters, window decals and tent cards to identify a “French Friendly” property or activity which provides some level of service to French speaking markets.

Sport Tourism

Venture Niagara has been at the forefront of developing partnerships in sport tourism in the Niagara region. A partnership with the City of Welland started the development of the Welland Sport Tourism Alliance. Another partnership with Brock University and Heart Niagara was initiated to establish the Niagara Sport Commission. The development of the Niagara Sport Commission’s Sport Tourism committee expanded partnerships between sport events, the tourism industry and destination marketing organizations.
