Venture Niagara business loans are targeted for small and medium sized businesses. The goal of our Corporation is to assist small and medium sized business in the Welland, Pelham, Thorold, Grimsby, Lincoln and Niagara-on-the-Lake area(s) to create permanent jobs.
Venture Niagara currently operates two loan funds;
Business Loan Fund CFDC Business Planner
Venture Niagara business loans are targeted for small and medium sized businesses. Venture Niagara loans are intended to create or maintain jobs in Welland and surrounding area. Venture Niagara provides business development loans up to a maximum of $150,000. Loans have a maximum five year repayment term with no penalties for early repayments. Interest rates are fixed at prime plus 4% over the term of the loan.
Notes on Loan Applications
Before applying for a Venture Niagara loan, please read the following:
- It is essential that all questions be answered completely and accurately.
- Venture Niagara staff will be available to provide assistance or answer any questions. (Any discussions, negotiations or communications).
- The Business Development Committee reviews and approves all lending recommendations. All lending decisions will be based on the information provided in the application.
- Pending approval, all legal costs associated with the loan application process and the release of funds will be borne by the loan applicant.
